We are still basking in the golden memories of our family (19 of us) holiday at Keranmeriet this August. Everything was perfect, the whole family had a fantastic time. With any luck we may all get there again but next time, of course, there will be 20 of us! We all wanted to take Fizz and the kitten home. If you want to see the little film taken of the holiday for my birthday surprise -google Walker Family Brittany (hope that's correct). It is great fun and shows Keranmeriat and the surroundings as well as all of us leaping in to streams, jumping in the pool and cavorting on the glorious little beaches.

What a fantastic holiday! Really relaxing break, the cottage was lovely, clean and modern and the pool was lovely. We bought the produce from the farm, are we going to miss the home made cider! The local towns were lovely to sight see, we would recommend the restaurant in Pont Avon at the very end, we can’t remember the name but it is recommended in the information book, well worth a visit or 2. There are lovely walks around the land and down to the meadow to the trout pond. Most of all we will miss Fiz the dog, what a super dog she is. Rob will inform you that if you have a BBQ she will be there, he was wrong, as soon as you open the boot with your shopping, she is there ready to see what you have got for the BBQ! She became an extra family member for the week and we nearly took her home. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone and we will defiantly be returning, Rob, Erica and family made us feel very welcome, thank you very much.

We stayed at Keranmeriet for one week mid june '08 and came back this year '09 for two weeks may/june. Being a farmer this is the best place to bring three children who are use to having plenty of space to play.
Erika and Rob are a lovely couple and make you feel so welcome. The gites have been very well done and the swimming pool a great asset.
As keranmeriet is situated just 15 minutes inland, there is plenty to do round and about, for example a choice of georgeous beaches, local markets.
We enjoy it so much, it is hard to leave. As already mentioned in previous blog, the homemade cider is good. Actually, it's so good I had to bring some bottles home.
Overall, the best way to sum it up is to say that it ticks all the boxes.

We have stayed at Keranmeriet a few times and are currently in the process of rebooking for 2009 and bringing even more family! The accomodation is fab and so clean and child friendly- Rob and Erika have thought about everything.

There are loads of gorgeous beaches close by and beautiful towns within a short drive.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone- also would recommend Rob's Cider but advise you not to drink it in vast quantities the night before the St Malo ferry crossing!

Myself, my Wife and my 2 year old son stayed in the dairy for a week in june 08 after a recommendation from friends. The gite was clean smart and comfortable and had every thing that we required for a great stay. We were made to feel so welcome by Erika and Rob that we have booked up for 3 weeks in may 09.
The pool was fantastic and the surrounding grounds had plenty to explore.
Although the gites are in a quiet location, you are near enough to some great towns and beaches if thats what you prefer.
I had not been on holiday in France for some time and had forgotton just how wonderful it can be when staying somewhere like Keranmeriet.

We have stayed at Keranmeriet a couple of times and are planning to come back again in 2009.
Our daughter (3 1/2 years old) loves it here, especially when Fizz the dog pays a visit. Some fantastic beaches are only a short drive away, but if you fancy staying at home you can quite happily laze around the pool, or explore Rob & Erica's extensive farm and woodland.
First class accomodation and excellent hosts means you will find it hard not to enjoy your stay here.

Stayed at Keranmeriet for last 2 wks June'08. Had a fantastic time - kids loved the freedom to explore the farm and woodlands. Top Class accommodation, 15min from the Coast, less than 2hrs from Ferry (Roscoff), every intention to return again next year!
